New resources for ministry

Parkside Journals and  Parkside Mission INC Parkside Journals is the new website for Emily's ongoing development of resources to help you connect neighbors to a better knowledge of God and his word.  The heartbeat of our mission remains the same, bringing the truth and love of Christ to neighborhoods through creating resources and training leaders. Much of this ministry is done in partnership with the church planting mission, Dunwoody Presbyterian Church. Parkside Mission is funded completely by the donations of individuals and churches that partner with this ministry. Thanks, Trent and Emily McEntyre

Development and Update of our ministries in 2016

Parkside Mission  and Church Planting We are thankful for the two channels of ministry that have opened up for us in Atlanta this year. Through establishing Parkside Mission we continue to serve in our passion to bring the truth and love of Christ through his word in unique ways. Through our leadership of a great church planting opportunity we are multiplying Trent's experience in preaching and starting new ministries. The heartbeat of our mission remains the same, bringing the truth and love of Christ to neighborhoods like Morningside and Virginia Highland. This year has see the expansion of our work to the North Atlanta city of Dunwoody. We love creating ministries that are effective in the context of vital institutions of our city like schools, industries, neighborhood associations and social clubs. Both the Parkside Mission and the Dunwoody Presbyterian Church Planting Mission are funded by the donations of individuals and churches that partner with this ministry. T...

Ministry update

Serving in the community Langley and Samantha love Inman Middle We have opportunities to serve and reach out to the community through our involvement with our neighborhood middle school. The ministry we helped launch last year with Young Life is growing in numbers and depth of relationships. Teaching the love and truth of Christ Trent and Emily teach the scripture to people from various places in their spiritual journey. Whether it is in the homes of neighbors or at a local church, the goal is to share the love and truth of Christ boldly and clearly. Neighborhood Bible study Prayer and financial support needed In order to bring the Gospel fruitfully and free of charge, we need increased prayer and financial support as we continue the 2015-2016 ministry year. Announcing end of the year giving opportunities

One of the great moments in the Christmas story is when the Angels surprise the shepherds with announcement of the good news:    "And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people." Luke 2:10 Even today there is joy when we bring the good news to people in words of truth and actions of love. The focus of our ministry in neighborhoods around Piedmont Park is bringing the truth and love of Christ. We are in the middle of a fruitful year, but we greatly need additional funding to continue our plans for 2016. We are thankful to announce today that a $10,000 matching challenge has offered to effectively double gifts for the December.  You can donate online at  https://www.egsnetwork.com/gift2/?giftid=03BF3A19610E4B1 , All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for your gift.  If you have any questions you can always call Trent directly, 404-932-2...

Personal Devotion Plan

The following article is the product of what I adapted from early days of discipleship in campus ministry, my seminary training, and my work as a pastor in Atlanta. The result is a thorough but flexible personal devotion plan. List examples to follow or avoid, promises to claim, or commands to follow.   Meditate   Now write out one or two (at most!) of the main thoughts/teachings you derived from the passage.
